 Sarah’s Wallsmashing Sausage Tortellini

This is a delicious easy recipe! 30-45 minutes tops and it screams GOURMET!! I named it that because the morning after my wife made it she backed into our retaining wall while backing out of the driveway. Enjoy!!!

8 ounces mild or hot Italian sausage. I like it with loose, not link sausage.
3 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
6 ounces mushroom, sliced
1 medium onion, grated or diced
12 ounces prepared Alfredo Sauce (I’m a fan of Ragu)
16 ounces prepared tortellini (from the refrigerated pasta section)
1 tsp salt
Pepper to taste

1. Break up sausage in a large skillet and sauté on medium heat for 6-8 minutes.
2. Add garlic, mushrooms, and onions; continue to sauté for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Boil water for tortellini and cook according to package directions.
4. Add Alfredo sauce, salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low. Simmer and stir for at least 10 minutes.
5. Add drained pasta to skillet and stir well to combine. Serve immediately with freshly grated parmesan.
